Teaching Clock
Teaching Clock is an open-ended teaching resource to help children explore telling the time in both analogue and digital formats. The digital clocks can be viewed in either 12-hour or 24-hour layout.
Clocking In
A telling the time game about o'clock and half past times.
Clock Splat
Match simple analogue times with digital equivalents. There are three levels of difficulty: hours, half hours and quarter hours.
Hit the Button
Quick fire questions on number bonds, doubling, halving, times tables, division facts and square numbers against the clock. Brilliant for improving mental maths and calculation skills, but particularly times tables either up to 10 or up to 12 times.
Telling the Time in Words
A game where you need to tell the time in words. Use language such as 'o'clock', 'half past' and 'quarter to' and compare the analogue time to digital time. The site works very well on an interactive whiteboard.
Time Tools - 12 hour to the half hour
Match each digital clock to the matching analogue time. The times are based on the 12 hour clock and are on the half hours. Two separate games are available.
Hickory Dickory Clock
A telling the time game. Choose the correct time and the mouse runs up the clock to get the cheese. Get it wrong and the cat is waiting!
Telling the Time
Read the time on an analogue clock and match with digital time. Different levels of difficulty. Options include using a 24 hour clock and seeing how many correct answers you can get in a given time.
Multiples and Factors
A multiple choice game with two game modes. In the first you need to identify the Lowest Common Multiple and in the second the Highest Common Factor. Questions increase in difficulty depending on accuracy
Two Clocks
An amazing resource for demonstrating the difference between two times. It is configurable so that teachers can use it at a basic level or use the questions provided.
