A really good site written especially for children which looks at sources of electricity and, electrical safety round the home. There are worksheets and activities. It works well on an interactive whiteboard.

A super site which explains what adjectives are. Great on an interactive whiteboard and best viewed in full-screen mode. Test your knowledge of adjectives on the quiz and game.
Home Front 1939 - 1945
A site from the National Archives Learning Curve which presents original documents to support information about aspects of the Second World War such as preparations for war, evacuation, women at war, spies and more. The interactive parts no longer work.
Dienes and Coins
Useful place value teaching resources for use on an interactive whiteboard. They cover hundreds, tens and ones and UK money. With some you will need to drag the Dienes blocks to represent the number you want. Please note the decimals section is faulty.
