Reading Scales
This website has activities involving reading scales. There are six levels of difficulty and the hardest include negative numbers and decimals. The scales include linear, thermometers and a variety of dials.
Number Line
An interactive number line to support the teaching of number and scales. Useful for teaching negative numbers. It has been designed for use on an interactive whiteboard.
Turning Man
Click on the turning man to see him make a quarter turn, half turn, three-quarters turn and whole turn. This resource is a useful teaching aid in full-screen mode, for demonstrating turns on an interactive whiteboard.

See if you can spot the verbs. In this game you need to click on the robot holding the verb to whack it!
Save the Whale
Complete the number bonds to set the whale free. You can choose different totals up to 10.
Rumble in the Jungle
Read along to the audio of the book Rumble in the Jungle which is about the sounds made by the animals that live there. There is also a version that is signed.
The Difference Bar
Use a linear partitioning tool to help find the difference between pairs of two-digit numbers such as 25 and 34. The examples in the resource always have a difference less than ten. Useful as a teaching resource on an interactive whiteboard.
The Slushy Sludger
The Sludger serves ice-cream cones. Use your knowledge of statistics and probability to decide what kind of slushy you are likely to get from the choices on offer from the Sludger vending machine.
Fish Force
A game where you will need to use your knowledge of push forces and friction to rescue a toy stuck on the ice.
