Primary Maths Challenge
The PMC is a maths challenge for UK pupils who want to get involved in some interesting and stimulating mathematics. It has multiple-choice mathematical problems which interest pupils.
Counting Caterpillar
Order numbers along a branch. You can select the minimum and maximum numbers. Lends itself well to an interactive whiteboard.
Show the Coordinate
A game which reinforces skills in finding coordinates. There is progression up to a 4 quadrant grid. Find the coordinates against the clock but take great care so you can get a 20 correct in a row.
Shark Numbers
A hundreds, tens and units maths game. Count carefully otherwise the shark will bite your boat.
Clocking In
A telling the time game about o'clock and half past times.
Fruit Splat Subtraction
Splat the fruit with the correct answer to the subtraction questions. There are 7 levels of difficulty including subtraction of two-digit numbers with regrouping.
Fruit Splat Addition
7 levels of addition sums to solve. The levels go up to adding two digit numbers with regrouping. Splat the fruit with the correct answers. Vary the speed to give yourself more time.
Telling the Time
Read the time on an analogue clock and match with digital time. Different levels of difficulty. Options include using a 24 hour clock and seeing how many correct answers you can get in a given time.
Numbers to Words Fruit Splat
Match numbers to the fruits to the target number words. There are four levels of difficulty: 1-10, 1-20, 1-100 and 1-1000.
