Free online French lessons and children's stories in French. There are introductory French conversations, vocabulary and grammar lessons. They could be used with younger children with adult support.
Pobble
Pobble is an online platform for educationalists to share children’s writing giving them a chance to write for a purpose and for a global audience. It's free to register but requires a subscription for portfolio uploads.
Anne Frank
A superb tribute to the life of Anne Frank. This is the official site for the Anne Frank House Museum. It gives the story of what happened to Anne and her family.
Paradigm Online Writing Assistant
Paradigm is an interactive, menu-driven, online writer's guide. It has useful advice to help you improve your writing techniques, but it is quite heavy going.

BBC Bitesize Science Key Stage 2
Colourful, interactive science activities from the BBC Bitesize on the key areas: materials, energy, light and sound, humans, plants and animals. Designed for 10 to 11 year olds.
Button Bop
A memory challenge game. Can you remember a sequence of up to 10 sounds and shapes? This is a good activity for helping a child's listening skills.
Spinner
Spinner is an interactive resource for generating random numbers up to 10. You can reduce the number of segments. Try this for generating equations.
Times or Divide Bingo
A useful class teaching resource on division and multiplication by 10 and 100. It includes decimals and is suitable for use on an interactive whiteboard.
