Science and Plants for Schools
We have just added Science and Plants for Schools to our search engine. It is a brilliant site which supports the teaching of plant science for age groups from 4 to 18 years. It has free lesson plans and ideas, worksheets, videos and photographs for classroom use. The videos are designed to help teachers and technicians carry out a range of interesting new biology practicals with secondary and A-Level students. There's an option to get weekly resources emailed directly to you.
There are also grants available between £50 and £500 for teachers who develop resources for the website and for up to £100 to fund teacher and technician led professional development such as TeachMeets.
