New goals for learning in 2018
With the start of a new year, it's a great time to set new targets for personal development.
There is always room for career progression, so why not take the time to set yourself an accomplishable goal this January, with a training course to further your knowledge and skills?
One great way to do this is with a free OpenLearn course from The Open University. The courses are available immediately, with no timeframe, so you can learn at your convenience. There are options from just a couple of hours, or longer-term programs – choose something to suit you and work at your own pace!
Over 1000 courses have been expertly developed in a wide range of subject categories – of course the Education and Development section has caught our eye.... There are plenty of ideas that would suit teachers looking to extend their employability skills, including areas such as child psychology and becoming a reflective practitioner.
Register for an Open University learning account – it's free – and you'll also be able to track your progress (ideal for measuring how you're accomplishing your target!). Plus it will allow you access to a Statement of Participation upon completion of your course, and digital Badges demonstrating the achievements in core competencies.
Be inspired and take a look at the courses available, today!
