Free Recycling Week Resources
To mark the start of Recycling Week which begins today, 20th September 2021, Recycle Now have launched some free, engaging resources for primary schools. They are suitable for Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 age groups. The popular resources include a range of interactive activities including posters, presentations and activity sheets to teach pupils how working together can create a sustainable future for all.
This Action Pack was produced as part of the Waste and Resources Action Programme, a charity that works to reduce waste and promote sustainability. The aim is to promote recycling and to help the world be a better place. The resources show how our rubbish can harm animals on land and in the oceans and how using new materials rather than recycling old ones can often destroy animal habitats.
