Alphabetical Ordering

Alphabetical Ordering is a comprehensive, interactive game for practising ordering a selection of words into the order they appear in the alphabet. The game lends itself well to use on an interactive whiteboard as a teaching aid, as well as on individual devices.

There are six levels which draw from hundreds of words. The first level involves the basic technique of looking at the first letter of each word. The levels gradually increase in difficulty up to the most challenging level 6 where the fourth letter determines the correct order. The progression provides an ideal opportunity for young learners to build upon their alphabetical ordering skills which are so important for tasks such as using dictionaries or sorting data.
